My mare 7s went through a fence about 9 months ago its healed nicely and all that stuff but i wondering if anyone knew any scar reduction techniques so far i havent been doing much just letting it heal alone i have gotten many opinions from everyone i ride with and old horsie people but they all sounded abit oldschool for me. But yeah if anyone knows of anything that may help i would love to hear from you :) This is a photo of her looking he best earlier today haha

I Would Suggest The Same Applies To "Gluepots" As Does To Humans, And

    That Is, Vitamin-E Creme..:).

    How Big Is The Scar..?

    Cheers Glen.

The scar is just above her front near side hoof its about 10cm long and 1 cm thick. Its rather dry. I havent ever had much of a scar to put creme on so this is all rather helpful :) Thank you Glen. I had bio oil suggested but way expensive haha.

(Gluepots haha 7s is no gluepot lol)

Try putting Vaseline on the cut and see if that doesn't help. :)

Ah i haven't tried Vaseline, its already improving pretty good but its been so hot an dry here i seem to spend most of my day moisturizing a horse haha its getting tedious. I ll have to find some photos of it before and now and show you the progress.

That is the cutest and funniest pic I've seen lately. :D Glenglen suggested what I would suggest, except I use vit E oil. (easier to find around here)

    How is she doing?

Sorry to hear about 7s's accident--glad she's better! As for the scar, I'd try putting A&D Ointment on it--I put that on a burn I had once--I burned my stomach with boiling water when I was a teenager, and after spraying it with cold water, I put A&D Ointment on it and covered it with a gauze pad--after doing that for a while, it cleared up and you wouldn't even know I burned my stomach! Give it a try--it couldn't hurt anything! :)

Its looking much better ive been putting what ever i have lying around in it usually sorbolene or even hoof oil. Its been pretty wet though so its abit spongy but considering the lack of care it previously had im rather impressed. She is a funny mare, she is anti ponies and dogs and basically anything smaller than her with 4 legs. Cool horse though when i work out how top use the scanner ill post pictures :)
