Ever smoked out of bamboo? It's fantastic, it takes amazing. Thumbs up x100! We have a homemade bamboo pipe and it gave us many years of great service. It eventually cracked, though. But it lasted way longer than any glass piece I've ever had.

 

Maybe we can get the growers added to the endangered species list, then they'll be protected and it would be illegal to hunt them.
