Yeah your fine. eBay is really strict with buyer and seller protection to the point it's kind of annoying.

An Avalanche, though? You're so teeny tiny, make sure they throw a ladder in with the deal. :)

you don't need an 80 percent approval rating.

I've always wondered about this. If one buys a vehicle on ebay, how does it get to the buyer? Shipping, driving, how?

You're usually going to be buying and driving the thing down yourself.

But Ebay motors is very legit.

Craigslist, a bit fishy if you're dealing in cash. Never send any money to anyone from craigslist.

it looks nice...and the price is pretty damn good compared to here

the tow-haul feature on the shifter is a great option if you tow anything...sometimes they stop working but its an easy fix..there is two tiny wires to the switch and they always break

the seller doesnt have much feedback but he has sold quite a few cars and the feedback comments are really good...

I've purchased 3 vehicles from Ebay. A Saab 9000, a Volkswagen bus, and a GMC school bus.

The Saab died in a week. And each bus ended up needing between $2000 and $5000 worth of work to pass inspection.

With that being said, I would buy a vehicle from Ebay again.

I guess I'm going to pick it up today...really can't beat the price of it when those trucks usually go for a minimum of $15K no matter what the year...I'm psyched!!!

Personally, I'd never buy a vehicle sight unseen. I'm kind of anal about vehicle maintenance though.

so does it smell like armpit and leave a tunnel of blue smoke down the interstate?..or was it a great deal

or was it a serial killer and you're trapped in a basement chained to the toilet

Sorry guys!! Didn't realize there were more posts on here!!

It needed some work...so I spent about $500 to fix everything it needed and get an inspection sticker and stuff...but overall...its AWESOME!!!!!!!! I love it. And it doesn't smell like armpit, but the real test will be when I use the ac in the summer.

No serial killers yet, but there are a lot of compartments that I still haven't discovered sooooo someone might be hiding in them. I found exploded beers in one of the bed compartments so if anyone's interested, I'll send out some frozen beer to you!

$500 is nothing...those trucks ususally need rear brakes every year (up here anyways)

sounds like it was a steal if it only needed 500 to pass safety :2thumbsup:

you can check if a/c is charged in winter by looking at the compressor when the defrost is on...a fully charged system will run the a/c all winter when defrost is selected to remove moisture from the air and keep the windows clearer...if the middle of the pump pulley stays still its not working...if it turns on and off it works

Be careful on the transfer of funds. I worked at Bank of America dispute department one summer and would get calls were idiots would wire transfer funds to bank accounts. Which turned out to be out of visa/mastercard/american expresses hands.

They ended up getting burned. Be sure ur protected before transfering any sort of monies.

Which I'm sure you knew that already.

Yes I did know about transferring money. Fortunately, I was able to hand the man $8K in cash. I've heard of way too many people getting scammed with transfers
