Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh has announced he will not seek re-election at the end of his current term in 2013. He also said his son won't run either. Saleh has been running Yemen for more than 30 years.

Saleh is seeking to calm down his populace who've scheduled a "Day of Rage" this Thursday to protest his dictatorial rule.

Most people probably don't even know where Yemen is, or that such a country exists. Off the top of my head, it is below Saudi Arabia and to the west of Oman on the Gulf of Aden. Anyway, hope people get what they want there!

Thanks for the slightly patronising heads up.
But I suspect anybody wishing to know where Yemen is could find out for themselves.

Wasn't: "hope people get what they want there!" enough?

    Anyhoo,
