Perhaps it explains why we are really there. We are looking for old world technology. I know when people hear the word Stargate, they think of the Sci-Fi series. But keep in mind the US Air Force sponsored that show. And what better way to discredit or condition people to a idea then to make it a fictitious show. Then any converstaion on the topic is said to be from that show. But when you think about the only real way to acomplish long range space travel is through either wormhole technology or a craft that can go many times the speed of light, even at that speed it can take 100's of years. Although they are not on the ground as the media portrays, I do not think a life form could just step in one and sail through space unharmed. It makes more sense for them to be in the sky, activated somehow by the craft. Maybe at a certain speed or frequency. This is probably how aliens are visting our planet. The technology their ships use works best at certain spots on the Earth that have high magnetic frequencys. These are the same regions you find things like the Pyramids or numerous Myan temples. The old world put allot of stock into atrology and they put these epic landmarks that defy human enginering of the day on these exact spots. It makes me wonder if they had alien assistance.

You are posing big questions with deep implications. After all my tedious on going reading and reasearch (6 years and counting) I have come to the following conclusion. Establishing fact and fiction in the past or future is an illusion... It would appear in our ancient history there existed technology on this planet that FAR exceeds the capabilities of what we have today. I chose in good faith to believe in either a visit from ET for this knowledge or ET's themselves bringing it using it and leaving it. The problem with this of course is that it opens deeper questions. Who were they? Why were they here? Did they create us? If so Why? I am man of faith and there is plenty of good theories out there I chose to believe in. But ultimatly we all play connect the dots and quest for our own theory of unification that will explain it ALL. I have went on masive public rants of beliefs on here before and got flammed to death. When you are attmpting to deliver truth, nobody wants to hear about what you have faith in. They want facts. What is sad and unfortunate, is when you break that mold of conditoned McReality, and you begin investigating the truth about the human condition, the truth about our very consciousness, you go down a path that is beyond EVERYTHING You have ever truly thought you knew to be true. Including tying your shoe laces. If anybody is however truly interested in my humble little opinion, I stronly ugre the entire fringe/conspiracy/truth seeking community to turn their attention to all the theories on Project Blue Beam, The HAARP Project, and this Maitrya/Benjamin Creme stuff. NOW play connect the dots... They are hiding a dirty little secret they want just the Robinson's to know.
That's true, ancient pyramids and temples are placed in what seems to be strategic locations, on ley lines or areas with high magnetic frequencies for some specific purpose. Obviously they had to possess some advanced knowledge to even know of the existence of these areas, and an exterrestrial influence could be a definite possibility.
