My girlfriend just shit the bed

metaphorically, of course. Kind of an innocent mistake, but one that is probably going to cost $20,000 and force me to work one more summer in the bush before I start full-time teaching.

I'm hiding my frustration and trying to comfort her... but fuck, I am kind of pissed off.

I am sorry to read that. Not a great thing to have happen and costly. Most times when we make a mistake that is without malice or intent, it is one of those idiotic ones. Sucks.
