So, my friend did LSD thursday night while he was on a school trip. I personally thought it was stupid, and strongly advised him not to do it @ a school-related event, but he did anyway. Well he talked about how amazing it was, etc, etc. And he got me very curious about the drug. So we are planning a time where we can do it together along with some of his friends who I kind of know and like that he gets it from. But anyways, I've been doing lots of research and stuff and preparing myself mentally. I've only smoked weed a good amount of times. I think i am almost ready but not quite. Anyways, any tipss? advice? etc? I know there's a lot of threads about this, and i have read a plethora of them, but for some reason my mind prefers advice when it is given directly to me :O thanks
Do not do it with "some friends I KINDA know". Set and setting,my friend. Get someplace comfortable and with someone comfortable in a place where you will get NO surprizes other than what takes place inside your head. My 2 C.
and still....you can expect suprises. your ordinary scene will cease to be ordinary. lsd has a way of orchestrating the unlikely. i hear people refer to it as synchronicity somtimes. this is the quality that i love about lsd.

Yeah, don't do it man, that was my experience. I mean I wasn't involved in these people coming over and such, but I did get in the vehicle. Know and trust all people you will be interacting with during your trip, especially if they have some level of control. That is the worst thing, control being out of your hands and into someones hands you don't trust.
Man, I think acid is a great way to open up to people. I truthfully don't think I could ever have a bad acid trip! Bold to say I know, but me and my friends have never had a bad trip off of acid. I don't know many who have actually. Mushrooms, DPT, 2c-e (high doses) are a different story.
I wouldn't call my trip a bad trip. I would just say a couple not so good things occurred during the trip. I didn't let it turn things that bad.
I agree with what everyone is saying, to be on the safe side. Because if you did have a bad trip on acid, it would be bad. Duration and the amount it can take over your visual field would make for a hellish bad trip (if dosed high enough). To me a real "bad trip" is a nightmare for the whole time. Suckage beyond control. Letting things not get to you is imperitive for it to not start though. Because thats exactly how it does, with little thought that you think you can control. Then they come in waves until its all you can think. Eww, I hate bad trips >_< They are the most important though.
I served as a guide for neophyte travellers when I was dosed and when not dosed. I didn't take L until I was 28, so I found myself guiding others ,sometimes inadvertantly when the taker would get "lost".. A little age helped ,I suppose, but I remember how people could "forget" they had dosed and go into panic mode. It can happen and is why I'm telling you to be ONLY with someone you trust not to dick with your head. Especially your first time. There's the interesting and fun part of taking L and the part where you learn about yourself and the world around you. The latter in my opinion is the important part.

I love socializing and meeting new people on LSD, as long as it's a cool atmosphere. I would hold onto people as a trip sitter, lol, sitting around the fire and they didn't seem to mind at all. Mostly the people were really helpful but this was at woodstock so it could have been that.
ya at points in my trip i would get pretty intense emotions. I don't really remember but that was a great trip.
