Singing guitarist needs place to live for free for some months

Hello. I'm Russian young guy. I like play the guitar and sing music of 60's, 70's like Bob Dylan, The Byrds, The Beatles, The Monkees, Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, C.C.R., Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Canned Heat and others. I want to come USA for some months and have fun with like-minded people, play music in the streets etc.. But I don't have enough money for hotel. It would be great if someone allow me to live in his house for free.

 

what area of the US do you plan on visiting?

 

Everywhere where you can offer me. I hope to find place with low level of criminality and new friends.

 

well there's crime in all the same places there's fun stuff to do, I mean you probably wont be mugged but yeah

I don't have my own place, but you should just come during the summer when it's not that bad to just sleep outside

 

I live in a little place with no real future to it, not a nice warm place at all... what you're looking for is a place out near South California, work your way up to LA. It's 73% dry there, most days are comfortable in a T-shirt or tank top... I'd be looking in that area for sure if I had my druthers.
