It is a question in declarative form.

Would you define your declaration so that I can understand it? Your "declaration" conceals much. You say you are trying to be tactful, what do you think you are protecting me from?

The kind of questioning that you are engaged in presently is known as "leading the witness".

So are you telling me that everything is happiness?

Are you asking me what happiness is?

    What?

    psychotheosophy,
you asked how I made my choice.
It was weighed with interests of both partners.
We grew, but not in the same direction.
We could still have some fun when painting together, the last thing we shared, but the partnership of marriage was withered and cold.
He was disinclined to focus on it, I was disinclined to force the issue.
We had too many different interests.
    Why push?
We had 15 good years. Raised my son from age 3 1/2. Operated an art business.
But his interest in gambling over working, and mine for working over being present with him pushed us from maried soul mates to friendly roomates.
I knew neither of us would keep growing the way we needed to if we stayed physically together.
Now we get in contact a couple times a year make sure the other one is alive, but other than that, nothing.

I think growing in love helps maintain the relationship.

Because only perfect love could maintain it perfectly.

    For example,

A seed is planted in good soil,
It is watered it until it sprouts,
It is given light, and it continues to grow,
But separate it from the good soil, water, or light,
And it not only stops growing,
    But it also dies.

I think all expressions of love are maximal.
You water a plant to much and it drowns.

Tell me phsychotheosophy, do you have a love?

all couples go through times like that...relationships take work. yer gonna love each other more at some times than others. it aint always easy to love the other person. we're all asses at one point or other, but love is a verb....an active thing, it ain't just something you feel, its something you do

    Love involves sacrifice.

A good gardener is always trying to create ideal conditions for the plant.
He may mix manure with the soil to add nutrients for the plant.

    In Catholicism,

The womb of the earth from which plants grow,
    Is like Mary (Luke 1:42)

    As water symbolizes grace,
The water soaking through the soil to the seed,
Is like grace through Mary, the Mediatrix of all graces,
Because she gave birth to Jesus, the one true Mediator of all graces,

    Mixing the soil with manure,
Is also like Jesus taking on sin (2 Cor 5:21),
He suffered and died in the flesh to give nourishment for souls,
So as we receive the Eucharist, the Body of Christ, our souls are also nourished.

    Furthermore,

    Catholics believe "Beelzebul" (the devil),
    Means "god of excrement."

Plants naturally know that they lack and desire light,
So the plant presents its leaves to the light.
But when leaves are drooping or withered,
    They turn toward the ground,
    And plants often die.

    But the ground has value.
Besides providing moisture for the plant,
If the plant is planted in the ground of a mountain,
The ground becomes a refuge from rising waters and floods.

However, people sometimes need to drink more water than what is normal,
To purify their body of toxins which may have built up.
It can be a sacrifice worth making,
    Even if uncomfortable.

    But,
    Since the world isn't perfect,
Examples can only approximately reveal what is ideal.
