Rainbow Gathering in Washington, July 2011

The Rainbow Family of Living Light will be assembling in Washington State for their annual gathering from July 1st through 7th, 2011, and it is expected to be a great one this time. The Thanksgiving Council for this gathering is coming up later this month (November) so do participate if you have a chance. The actual location of the gathering will not be determined until next spring, but it will probably be somewhere in eastern Washington like it was in 1981.

I just got off the phone with a guy with the Rainbow phone number. It sounded like a party or a potluck was going on. I got some good info.

Just one thing wrong with that. I've been hauling around a thousand pounds of gear and supplies for a week for the last 23 years. It's in the truck. Not on my back. The guy said there would be plenty of help available. Even if I go super light it sounds like a mile or two hike into the main meadow. I'm not built for that anymore.

Oh well. Got 2 months to make a plan.
