Teddy bears make really nice gifts. I've been given one by one of my exes for one Valentine's Day many years ago. I still have it. I'm intrigued by the mirror idea. I would do something like that for a 1-month anniversary or something...
Flowers, Maybe a Build-A-Bear Workshop bear, those you choose and put in the stuffing and choose the clothes yourself, it's pretty cute and significant at the same time.
