Hello, Yes.. I do not what what DMT is:eek::confused: Hahaha! Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I dont know much about drugs, somewhat new, I've only ever done dxm, and i only know a lot about dxm, marijuana, and a bit about acid (not that ive ever had marijuana or acid)

But i just so recently found out, LSD and acid are the same things :D and I kind of thought DMT was something like DXM and DPH, but apparently its not?

Would someone please care to explain to me what it is? I know its a drug, and i know its a psychedelic, but.. is DMT the drug itself? or is DMT a thing found inside other drugs? in other words, is the drug just called DMT, or is DMT a drug found within another drug?

Please no dumb answers calling me an idiot or something, I dont know a lot about this stuff.. :p Just trying to learn! spread the knowledge :2thumbsup: Haha

DMT is a drug in and of itself that many (including myself) have smoked and have had thoroughly earth shattering experiences from.

It is found naturally in many plants and usually has to be extracted from the plants to be smoked. It's broken down when it's taking orally so it's not active by eating any DMT containing plants. There are other plants, foods, drugs that contain inhibitors which essentially freeze the process that breaks down the DMT by your body, allowing it to be taking orally. So this mix of the inhibitors and DMT is most famously/sacredly known by the name 'Ayahuasca' but there are modern variations of it called 'pharmahuasca.'

But yes the drug referred to as DMT is a drug in and of itself. It's more properly abbreviated form is (N,N DMT) because there are many other drugs that have a DMT chemical structure that are different.

Also, the two main DMT substances that are ingested is N,N-DMT and 5-MeO-DMT.

N,N-DMT is very visual, lots of fractals and impossible geometric shapes.
5-MeO-DMT is nick-named 'the void' because it's more of a heavy body load with minimal visuals. Both are awesome Erowid is your best bet for info

    "DMT" is N,N-DiMethylTryptamine

to call 5-MethOxy-DiMethylTryptamine "DMT" is incorrect.

there is also 4-PO-DMT (psylocybin), 4-HO-DMT (psilocin), 4-AcO-DMT (psilacetin?), and probably a handful of others

Yeah 5-MeO-DMT use is rare compared to Psilocin use.
