I would recommend trying to watch a TV show or a movie on LSD with the sound off. Not sure if this is something many people do, but it really can enhance your understanding of cinematography. Have you tried this? Best shows/movies for this? I watched Seinfeld like this, and it was epic. Also Planet Earth is breathtaking, but unrelated to this =)
One trip a friend of mine decided we should try the old dark side of the Moon/ Wizzard of Oz combo that was awsome, but I think most any show on mute can make good trip eye candy as long as it's not a horror movie or something with a bad vibe like that.
Sound on, sound off. And just on weed, I start seeing whatever is on tv like I were the director listening to the actors reading a script in person surrounded by lights, cameras and sound equipment, and I see far more detail and subtlety and nuance in whats on. I love it. Watch family guy high....And yah, pink floyd videos were DESIGNED for people who are high. Whats the one with bob geldof, dark side of the moon? Oh, fucking WOW...
