So I never grew anything I am new to all the ingrown movement. Anyways I been searching online and seen some neat pc grow boxes. Also cardboard ones. Has anybody actually done. One if so can you please tell me what's the best material to start with. And steps by steps. Should I start with seeds or clones? Thanx

i could never understand how you can grow weed in a fuckin pc....how can you fit a 2 foot wide and 3 foot high plant in there?

those are for suckers...no way you could harvest a quarter pound in one of those never mind half a pound

my babies were too big for a pc BEFORE they even went outside to play in the sun...

maybe you can grow bonsai weed in there lol

Even indica can grow to 4 foot plus so not really a shrub lol.
I.d start from clones if i was a first timer what ever the grow method seeds can be tricky.

bonsai is not far short of what ya actually doing I.d say.

i didnt say its impossible...this op person is a rookie.....

look...go ahead and spend 3 months tending to your pc grow box...harvest and get an ounce tops...in the same time i will harvest minimum4 ounces and up to a pound if i get a monster...for fuck sakes the clones i get or sell are already too big for a pc box

have you actually seen an induca plant...in 4 weeks of 18 on and 6 off they are nearly 2 feet tall....even if you trick the plant into budding at 2 weeks[stupid move] you dont have the height in a pc to produce a big bud.....

pc boxes are for suckers.....notice no person here is extolling the virtues of a pc growbox

chriz, some use gutted chest o' drawers, speaker cabinets, etc. use yer imagination.

On the one hand Rollin' is right anything smaller than 4'x4'x6' area could be deemed a hobbie, one forum I follow had a contest growing in shot glasses of all things. But on the other hand the container regulates the the size, take fish, small bowl small fish, large ocean...

I once grew in a 1gal. pot from bagseed and the finished plant was about 2' tall very bushy and the fan leaves were were barely bigger than my thumb...

Chriz if you want the small grow because yer still living with others who would be offended, you need to realize the odor by harvest time is very difficult and expensive to mask.>)

    Cute.

Plants size can be controlled by topping the tape root or restricting it as in bonsai where ya grow in a shallow dish and trim the roots or plant on top of a stone.
And heres a real arse hole way of controlling size let them damp off lol x x

Rock, could've been the tap root. That particular garden were root bound when I transplanted 'em in their final pot, so there could have been some tearing.

Chriz, remember this isn't rocket science, and if mj were left to it's own devices there are few places on earth it couldn't thrive, problems usually arise when new gardeners try to force feed and water it:>)

op-forgive my passion for this subject...what inevitably happens is that people learn on their first grow and each one is more successful after that...i wish you nothing but luck and hope you have huge buds when you are done....keep us posted with a grow journal

Another thing to concider when trying to grow small is any human intervention that takes a plant away from its natural state will equal stress and stress in cannabis increases the chances of males and hermie or just sick plants. As a first timer I think there are more easier ways to grow yet still keeping it fairly small with greater chances of being successful
