Have some questions about a poppy grow.

SWIM was thinking about growing some poppies this year. SWIM has never done this before and isn't terribly concerned with giving extra effort for extra potent sap. SWIM is wondering where SWIM can buy some seeds, preferably without using the internet. SWIM assumes that regular poppy seeds intended for food have been sterilized or are not P. Somniferum. SWIM is also wondering when is the best time to plant and harvest in the southern United States.
