So i was thinking of cutting a hole in the roof of my van, like a cat flap kinda thing. More so like an army tank style tho,' im not sure if its legal to do it ur self in australia, think it would be mad to pop up my flap and drive around, or just like pull up a spot and pop my head out n say h0wdy, would also make it eayser if i wannted to lie on my roof, thoughts or sugestions?
Just thinking maby i could cut two holes, one for charlie (my pet camel to be) and i, that way he could sit in the front with me n chill while i drive with out hurting his long neck,
I'm sure you could purchase a custom retractable skylight to fit any size opening :2thumbsup: Hotwater
I Beg Of You PLEASE DON'T......You Have Gone All These Years*24* Without Thinking, To Do So Now Would Be A Recipe For Disaster......Most Certainly Your Head Would Assplode, And Innocent People Could Get Hurt.... For The Wellbeing Of Yourself And Others, Just Carry On The Way You Are Mate.. Cheers Glen.
In Canada we call them sunroofs go get one from the junkers..they have two piece frames and are easy to install if you have tools to cut the hole...try to look for the after market kind where the glass is removable rather than the factory kind that retracts into the roof...the removable glass ones are very easy to install
I thought the same thing! Thinking is such a dangerous thing! I didn't think anyone could do that anymore?
My understanding is that camels make better back seat drivers. I would not allow him to be in the front seat at all. You may wish to check on the legality of rubber necking before you allow him to hang out the car! Safety is paramount in dealing with animals in the car. That something could happen to him because of wind shear is not responsible pet ownership. My elephant hates when I pack her up for a road trip, so I have taken to boarding her with friends when the need arises for me to travel.
