I kind of like Hole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3dWBLoU--E"]YouTube - Hole - Celebrity Skin Always had a soft spot for the crazy bitches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTUQDy4e8AM&feature=channel"]YouTube - Hole - Letter To God
I like celebrity skin. I always felt like they were just a manufactured band that was riding old thunder, and not even their own, but it is still a good song.
I can smell the stank through the video... Seriously though...not my cup of tea. I can understand the appeal though.
Unplugged was a really great album...as much as I like to try to pull Nirvana from the pedestal young angsty teens put them on, Unplugged is still one of my favorite albums. And Hole is alright. I called my best friend's mom "Courtney Love" because she was a drug addict piece of shit and when she died, my friend told me Courtney Love died and I thought she was talking about the real Courtney Love. lol
I wouldn't say that good about it, but their cover of Lake of Fire is amazing to me. The only Nirvana song I fully respect (even though they have a few other I like)
Kurt could write Hole songs in his sleep. Courtney would never come up with something as awesome as Paper Cuts or Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle. To me, Nirvana suffers from repetitive saturation. It's easy to dismiss the same eight songs you've heard on the radio a gazillion times...they lose their impact. Dig a little deeper into those albums and the brilliance is still there.
Kurt's the most overrated pseudo-poetic songwriter since Jim Morrison, and his composition was far worse. Hole's songs had a ton of pop-alternative appeal, great atmosphere, like Nirvana, (I definitely give them credit for that) and great emotional output, another point where I would give Nirvana credit, but Hole definitely showed more range of emotion (with a few different hues of angst and depression). I don't think either are great by any means; but Nirvana doesn't get treated like the pop melodies that it was (neither do the early Beatles) and Hole is higher quality pop melodies. None of us know anything
who doesnt love a bit of skanky ladies from a distance! haha not too close tho unless you had your rabies shot :O

You are not alone in this, Sam. Together we can get through it. lol for serious though, I have a soft spot in my heart for Celebrity Skin. Its one of those albums that played a significant part in a significant time in my life so I can't help but love it.
Just because a band makes a few raido friendly songs to increase their exposure doesn't make them pop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEhIu4vtSIQ&feature=related"]YouTube - Nirvana - Scentless Apprentice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6A2bcgLgQE"]YouTube - Nirvana D 7 Live at Reading 1992 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiiCzampA04"]YouTube - Nirvana - Big Long Now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdWG2JfZYzE&feature=related"]YouTube - Nirvana - Aero Zeppelin Real pop man. Hole was alright, I preferred this group, I guess it could be considered a guilty pleasure as well. Jagged Little Pill by Alanis and No Doubt were huge too which I liked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpRiSb_Ir-s"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpRiSb_Ir-s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfSKoocUfqw"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfSKoocUfqw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HBxUWSxcq8"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HBxUWSxcq8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1PRe_DWWJo"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1PRe_DWWJo
There was a time when i considered Love to be evil incarnate for her role in pushing Cobain to suck on a shotgun barrel But I wish more gals were like her, confident, interesting...fun And it was probably inevitable that something along those lines was going to be Cobains fate
Is that the album that the lead singer from the group Tossing Off Onto Mum's Tongue recorded with them?
