To all. On second look the trailer seems to be a No. They say there's no double bed sleeping arrangement in it. (I don't get it, because I owned one that was much smaller and much shorter then the trailer in the photo that I saw, and the one that I owned had two "sleep double" setups in it. Rear couch fold out, and the front kitchenette table drop-down. Very weird manufacture, here, with their trailer.) But Whatever. There are lots of reasons that some old vehicles aren't worth buying.

So, this seems to be the latest find. In Mayer, Az. Two towns away from their swap meet in Prescott Valley, Az. Rent a trailer and lot fee. It says $300 per month and $200 deposit. Take a look.

    http://prescott.craigslist.org/apa/2204011106.html

As long as they can net 300 per month or social sec money the rent is paid. Hope springs eternal in the Springtime. Do you think?

So, people want to know how there money is being spent so I figure that I'll drive up there and get a copy of the rent/ lease receipt and just post that here in the forum pages. Was going to do that with a vehicle title, anyway, for Zev, Cakes, and for her donators. So its' all the same, basically.

    A roof = heart surgery.

They are saying a new appointment with the primary care doctor on March the first, so we'll hear the big plan from there.

    Love to all,
    Kenny

    Thanks Spud,

You Rock. I'm going to kick Ranger's ass and make him write you a personal thank you note for your contribution, Brother. I don't care if he has cataracts in both of his eyes and can't see fer shit. That's a lame excuse. He owes you a big personal thank you. And your lady and your kids too. Really. it came out of all of your pocket. I mean, we are all "REAL" and we all put it out there. You deserve it. Thanks Spud.

Thanks, Kenny. I look at our contribution as my opportunity to give something back to my brothers and sisters of the GE who helped me out when I needed it.

    Peace

    Ranger;
The trailer ain't fancy but it's a hell of a lot better than the back of van. Only drawback is your renting and not buying. Good luck and good health my brother.

    THE SAGA

It's only $300 a month. It's a roof and pretty spacious. The electric is on but they need to get it turned on in they're name. They need to drop $219 for the propane company to put in a tank and give them a half load of propane. Ranger's doc appt. is on the first. Figure if he can get cataract surgery even with a heart problem or not. I guess talk about heart. Ranger didn't talk about that. So, You ask ask him, Zev, and others.

Cakes, they have a Compac computer but no one knows if there is a WiFi hot spot in the town of Mayer, Az. Maybe library. They can get internet at their trailer but they have other new expenses to take care or first. Ranger and Rita, there is a public library at the corner of Main Street and Wicks Avenue. There is a whole downtown that we never got to see, two or three blocks behind the dollar store, Rita. Google map the town and then zoom in tight enough to see the words Mayer Library, post office and stuff.

Hopefully, Ranger, will get with his doc on heart stint. Ranger, it's not as thought the expert surgeons don't do six or eight of these ever day. It ain't 1959, brother. It ain't there first rodeo. They're old hands at it. Get it scheduled and get it all behind you. Move on with life. Cool.

We met at noon in Prescott at the east end Walmart. (5,330 feet above sea level.) Got 'em a 50 buck cell phone with color camera (potential for merchandise pictures for the web), and a 30 buck one month card with a thousand minutes. All future one month cards are 30. Me, I want Rita talking to her family more. I think that would be so cool. A blessing.

5,330 feet. It was raining for most of the drive from 1,500 feet to 5,330 feet. Hour and a half. The minute that I hit Prescott it turned into dumping fluff snow and never stopped. We burn up and hour and a half sitting is McD at Walmart half hour waiting for the cell phone setup to happen with the verizon computers. Got Ranger a magnifying glass the see the little cell phone screen with. It is small.

The mountain snow was over 4 inches in an hour and a half. I was scared they would close down the highway and that we'd be stuck there. Couple miles down the road we filled the van with gas. They shouldn't have to worry about getting around or to and from the swap meet for a while. One more load off the mind. (From Mayer to Prescott Valley, different town, where their swap meet is it is 19 miles).

From 5,330 feet to 4,400 feet driving 27 miles, in Mayer it was just raining and kind of light. Nice old gal runs the 55 unit trailer park which is famous for speed freaks and trouble. I told Ranger to buy a bunch of beer and invite some Hells Angels over for an afternoon in order to create a big ass scarecrow at the locals jerks. Supposedly this new landlady manager is cleaning up the place as it's reputation sucks.

They were only charged for the deposit and prorated rent to the end of the month. Saw the rent receipt. It's all real. They have most of the cash in hand for March first (like three quarters of a months rent at least, in hand) and another weekend flea market to do before then. Should be all cool.

Yes, Ranger, You're right. I did screw up the money count somehow. I had put pre-counted cash in three different envelopes, (with everybody's in one envelop) and I did have Zev's in the second envelop mixed with some of mine. I did get kind of nervous counting out and getting you cash in front on the manager and her son, so I did screw up on that. So, the 5 twenties I handed you for food right then is Zev. And 35 of the propane 100 dollar toward propane is Zev. Everything that I handed to you at first was from the Nailcakes shipment. whatever the amount. Okay? Sorry the I messed it up. Cake's 720 number does include the Zev amount for a total and is correct. I went back and read it. Get the Propane and eat, and I'll help you guys beyond that if needed after the next weekend swap meet. Also get that P.O. Box key and number and zip code so that folks CAN mail you cash if need be.
So, any of the rest of the money beyond that would be me. I just hope that everything helps the two of you move up and beyond in life.

Rita Ranger, you guys need to plan ahead with the weather at Prescott Valley. Get the weekend forecast, and if the swap is closed, go someplace else to do business, on the weekend. Please.

    A little advance planning.

This web site lists flea markets with a weather report shown right next to each market listing. Try it it's fun. Here's a list of 59 swap meets in your state. 3 full pages. Some are drivable for you guys. Two in Scottsdale. There's Surprise, Glendale, Peoria, Mesa, Phoenix, Black Canyon, 1 outdoor and 1 indoor in Flagstaff. This also lists Consignment Casita, in Cave Creek, Az. A very big money, small town. Your very first Consignment connection folks and getting going in this direction with them and others right now could have you all set all through next years Wintertime. A worthwhile direction for the future. Shops in rich towns. New connections.

I hope that this can help you into new directions and a new life.
Once you establish a relationship with some consignment shops or antique shops, perhaps I can do some of the subsequent running around for you beyond your initial contacts and relationships. Show further stuff for you. Something like that.

So, everybody, I had forgotten that Rita is a Cancer. The ruling sign of the Home.

I kept asking her if I could buy her this or get her that. Some type of household thing, for a little house warming gift or something. She just kept saying know we have those in our storage space. Seemed as thought she had everything.

Then she said to me, I'm a Cancer, I've been getting and hiding away home things for years now. I have most everything.

Suddenly, I was, like, WOW. I said to her something like, "This must be like the long awaited day of your dreams or something. A home to put everything in."

She just smiled and said, "Yeah."

Everybody, you all did good. You got a home for a girl who's crab sign is the "home" sign. You all did much more magic than you thought. You're Golden.

I was able to get her some coffee, filters, a little coffee maker and some half and half. Happy campers!

One of my big goals was to feed the f out off them. (Not at McDonald's) Like they use to live at McDonald's. Something solid. Real food. A night out on the town. Lift the spirits. There was a new locally recommended steak house in this new town. A brand new up scale biker bar roadhouse steak house. (Their are lots of hardworking midrange to affluent range Harley guys in Az. It's an AZ open road thing.) The steakhouse is right next door to the local Harley dealer.

    http://www.grandcanyonhd.com/custompage.asp?pg=mayeraboutus

Saturday night. The place was cool, full of good people. Led Zeppelin and Hendrix. Rita said she met 3 different people there that they knew already. One of which was the bartender. The food was great and Ranger found a great dark stout which I loved. The draught stout was an unbelievable $1.75 a pint. (I my neighborhood you'd pay 4.50 or 5.00 or more.) Regular draught was a Buck and a Quarter. I could move right in. That's cheaper than beer at home. We all had great BBQ baby back ribs, huge potatoes, smoked cowboy beans, and big salads. They first ordered half racks of ribs and we changed it to full racks, for leftovers for another day. Yum!

All that I can remember is some happy faces at the phone counter in the store. At a gas station. At a trailer with the manager. At a Circle K. At the Dollar Store. At the Biker Steakhouse. And back home where I left them. Sweet!

You guys would just love it.

    It's all your fault. :)

I am knowing and am wishing them each a brand new chapter in life. Success and more income to cover the larger expenses and the things that they deserve. A real home for a Cancer. She was planting flowers outside, in her head, even before signing the rent agreement or far before they even slept there. Cakes, you were right. A real headquarters for Ranger operations to roll out from. A balanced center for a libra. Something stable. As Zev says, living in a van is alright when you're 25, but at 65, no.

I drove down the curving, windy freeway through the mountains and through the night rain, back down to the vast open expanse of the desert of my familiarity. A long fun day as I parked and there was no more rain.

    Thanks, family.

    Love you all,

    Kenny :sunny:

Rita, Mary Jo looked up on the web that there is a McDonald's just the other side of Interstate 17 in Cordez Lakes. 10 miles. She suggests that maybe they have Wi Fi there. I say, or if you guys ever miss eating McDonald's food, it's the nearest place for a fix. LOL

Thanks Kenny and MaryJo, so glad you were able to take care of all that you have. You done good Brother. I know you kicked in some $ while you were there.

I see this news and have a great swelling in my heart. All the ones that came forth and all the ones behind the sceens sending healing energy and love light.

We made it happen, we came together as one heart and shared with our brother and sister. A new begining and a stable inviroment to thrive in. After living in a vehicle for 4 or 5 yrs, this place must seems huge :) I can just see Rita's face all lit up in her beautiful smile. I see the look of relief on Ranger's face, just knowing that he will soon have his stint and his sight back has got to feel like a miracal. It must be a huge relief with that stress out of the way.

Now he can focus on gettting the appts made for the doctors. What is the names of that FREE internet thing. linux I think that's it IDK much about it tho, looks complicated to me. Maybe someone here could help with that information. I know that some folks in here ( HIP ) use it. That might be an option for internet. Also there is www.peoplepc.com that is 9.00 a month.

Glad it's manifested, happy we could do it. It's a testimate of our love n unity as Human Beings. Bless us all. We're so Cool :)

Thanks soooo much!!! We're out of the van and have spent the past few days moving in things from storage and the bed we got from the thrift shop. Our cats panicked at first never having been 'indoors' before and we had to drag them in kicking and screaming. Now they are loving having all this space to roam and play in. Rita is busy arranging the house and planing her garden and loving it.
I'll see my primary Doc Monday weather permiting and get things started.
Again, THANKS!!!. Love Ya'll, Ranger & Rita

    Hi All,

Could somebody else please bug Ranger to hustle his doctor about getting the STINT Thing Scheduled? We're talking about his appointment on the first, Tuesday.

ALL OF YOU. Post to Ranger.

On Wednesday, We should all expect for Ranger to get online and to tell us all exactly when his STINT Thing is scheduled for.

This is why we all tightened our belts and came up with the money that none of us could afford in this recession, with extra high gas prices.

    I'm totally worn out.

YOU guys bug Ranger about this. Make him tell YOU all, on Wednesday.

    Thanks you guys. Go get'em.

Rita Too. Go get him. Thanks.

I see my Primary Doc tommorow at 2:30 the bgood Lord prpviding and the creek don't rise; I spent a while on the pone yesterday with a pal who is/was a troubleshooter for someone/s in the Senate for years and wants to know if things don't move along soon. The VA thinks they are military and that means"Hurry up and wait.' lol
The system says that I see this Doc and then she either consults with the others or sends me to them for futher inspection! I'm keeping my fingers crossed at this point!
Thanks again everyone, I'll keep you posted., Ranger

    Hi Ranger,
I know ou are just as eager to get this over with. The Stint is an easy procedure. They go up through your grroin with a camera and stint. They go right up in your heart and you can watch them on the monitor place it.

They did the camera thing on me a couple of yrs ago but my heart was good and I didnt need any biz'nez goin on there, but the prosedure was the same. I just had to take it easy for a few days bc of the incission in my artery.

You will do fine Sug, my sister gets a new stint in her bile duct every few months, not the same thing but they do these stents all the time and it's not as risky as 20 yrs ago. My nephew has had two stents in his heart and he was in his 40s. He was killed in a car crash a few yrs ago, but it wasnt his heart that got em'.

Just Zen your way through it.

ps. let me know your address so I can send Rita some seeds to start her garden with :)
