Sun let's out huge solar flare

After a period of inactivity the sun is starting to "wake up"

Apparently we could see some nice northern lights over the next few days.

I hope this means that we will get a decent summer in the UK this year...

I've heard the same for an astroid that could hit within 10 years. Honestly every event that could wipe out the human race could happen this decade (from what i have heard) cough cough. Still though..
