so i think i remember last year bonnaroo had a thing on their website where you could send in what artists you wanted them to schedule on the lineup. i wonder if they will do something similar this year? what bands would you like to see at bonnaroo this year?

    here's my list:

(hopefully scheduled so there aren't any major schedule conflicts between major acts)

some bands like tv on the radio, or neon indian, or galactic to open the first night at various tents.

some good second day afternoon shows from bands like kings of leon, umphreys mcgee, animal collective everywhere except the main stage

second night - electronic night. sts 9 opening on the main stage, crystal castles, lotus, pretty lights, ghostland observatory.

third day - afternoon. some mellow style afternoon shows like company of thieves, rodrigo y gabriella, gomez, cornmeal.

headliner - furthur? (i don't know how i would feel about furthur headlining bonnaroo) maybe red hot chili peppers since they are supposed to be touring..

third night - moe. superjam! with whoever they want to allow in their set.

fourth day - acts like cage the elephant, a perfect circle (i heard they are making a new album, possible tour?), and another big act to close it out (would depend on the headliner).

    ..

personally, i love the bonnaroo campgrounds. there is and always will be something magical about them. we must save bonnaroo!

Right? It's like Coachella southeast these days. Why on God's Green Earth shouldn't Further headline? The number of jam band kids in attendance may be shrinking, but they're still the majority. Don't get me wrong, I really dig a lot of the noveau-folk/indie bands, but come on....RHCP turned top-40 about 10 years ago.

i just said that because furthur hasn't played bonnaroo yet. with the way bonnaroo was last year they would have stuck out like a sore thumb. the whole festival would need to have a more jam oriented lineup, which would be nice.

but you still can't deny that it would be awesome to have the chili peppers at roo.

I live just a couple hrs from this festival and never hit it up. I always here it's not like it used to be, and it's fallen off.. but year after year there's dope bands performing.

What's the prices of this festival looking like? (The website is not working for me ATM)

lol. what in the hell is eminem and lil wayne doing at bonnaroo!

not much on there that makes me go "wow i can't wait for bonnaroo" doubt that i will be returning.

it would be really cool the see buffalo springfield, robert plant and string cheese, but i don't know if it's worth it with so many other festivals with good lineups.

To help protect you and your Bonnaroo investment, you will receive a specially designed wristband with a unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) chip that will be mailed to you in advance of the festival in lieu of a physical ticket. This secure RFID chip in your wristband is unique to you and your order. Your wristband is your ticket to Bonnaroo 2011!

Yeah I hear you... Looks like I'm picking Wakarusa over Bonnaroo this year, even though I had initially planned on going to both...

I went buy my tickets today for the last cheap round of them but too late. They are about 280$ now with shipping and everything. I guess its expensive to put tracking devices in bracelets. WTF bonnaroo, you are kinda bumming me out. but ill be there
