Lost on the dancefloor (MDMA 250 mgs)

This party looked promising as I knew it was going to be a more techno/trance oriented party. I met a fellow new HF member Transducer and we headed out to the venue. The venue was located on the end of the street in a building that looked like they would hold bar mitzvahs in but the sound was contained pretty much strictly inside the building. When we entered some loud ass thumping techno music greeted us. The beats had a very tribal sound to them which was awesome for this intimate atmosphere. The temperature in the building was nice, and the lazers and lights were nice with a holgraphic screen projecting various random images in the middle of the dancefloor.

Transducer went with 15 mgs 2ci for the evening, he dosed about 45 minutes earlier than I did. I dosed 250 mgs of MDMA at around 10 o clock. The mdma took about an hour to kick in and the initial alerts I felt a sense of anxiety. The beats slowly pulsed through my being though as my vision started softening and the colors became brighter in the lazers and lights. The first two DJs played techno and the second DJ took me on a fucking journey, constantly shifting high energy music that constantly evolved, shifted and pulsed, rattling me down to the core. The initial Dj played A Chemical Brothers remix which I was ecstatic hearing the song in a techno version.Transducer seemed a bit chill for the first couple hours with the 2ci, although he commented that the lazers were pretty visually impressive. In the middle of the 2nd DJs set, both of us were stomping and dancing all over the dance floor. The party was fairly packed but it never felt overcrowded, their was constantly enough room to completely express myself on the dancefloor. I also met a few familiar faces there, people I've partied with before and went to school with. The MDMA dose was perfect for me, I definitely felt it heavy in the sense, I was seeing blue blobs that appeared as after images of the light and Transducer actually happened to mention experiencing these as well. I gave a few lights shows to some people but mainly was just stomping and dancing to the dj who was absoultely tearing the decks up.

After the techno Dj was finished a Deep Trance DJ came on, a change up in pace from the quickly paced bangers of the previous DJ to a more chill, hard hitting repetitive vibe. The synths slowly crawled throughout the depths of the music to raise louder and louder creating tingles up my spine which just released when the synths hit full volume. I started moving in slower motion at this point. As the rush from the MDMA started to give way to the blurry stoned swimming feeling. I reached my hands for the lazers at a moment as if they were some solid object made of gold, I almost get a weightless feeling when the lazers touch my being and the beat vibrates my soul. During this DJ a whole bunch of people gathered around in a circle and we went around the circle clapping for each other as we each had a few moments for individual performances in the middle of the circle each. The vibes were so amazing at this event, just great music and friendly people.

The last Dj of the night that we caught was a breaks DJ, he spun some more funky tunes compared to the very psychedelic sounding techno and Trance earlier in the evening. I was on the definite downswing of the mdma at this time but I was still tearing up the dancefloor in between short breaks as the drug wore off, the music drived me to continue stomping and the breakbeats were absolutely funky in a badass way. I remain with a pretty exhausted body at the moment and slightly scatter brained but it was well worth it.

Great night! It was cool meeting Transducer and seeing some familiar faces, I also happened to get 100 mgs of 2ce after the party! Amazing venue, amazing music, amazing company!

 

sounds like you had a great time man. as did i, in the comfort of my own apt. with my fiance and 36 mg 2cb. i'll have to write a brief report later. that's awesome that you got some 2ce. do you think you'll venture up to 50 or 60 mg as is so often praised around here, or that you'll stick with your normal doses?

 

I think I'll get a 50 mgs dose in and possibly get a sparkle flip in somewhere too! Yah it was a great evening, I hope you write a decent trip report/summary about 2cb when you get around to it porkstock, im curious as to how the 36 mgs went.

Good times GB! Can you elaborate a little more on the anxious feeling you felt at first? I know, I know, I'm nit-picking, but being so close to my long awaited hopefully first successful time with MDMA anything about anxiety raises a red flag for me lol

Other than that, it sounds like a bad ass time. This is a dumb question, but do you think being at a punk show would really get me there? I know it's probably got more to do with what music you naturally like (I'm not really that into techno/dance/trance) but you usually don't hear people gushing over the sick beats at the punk rock show lol

 

Sounds like an awesome time. I kinda feel like I missed something, I"d like to see a trance show sometime tho I wouldn't be tearing up any dance floors for hours like you did.

The only bad thing about being fucked up and dancing is that you sometimes over-estimate your flexibility or stamina. I either end up being burnt out at 6am or throwing my back out or some shit haha.

Its hard to describe the feeling, its not unlike anxiety I experience coming up on hallucinogens sometimes. I don't get 'nauseous' really but I get stuck in like an in between state for a few moments where I don't know what I want to do, like I kind of feel like sitting but then I also want to stand and hear the music, I'm thirsty but don't feel like walking to the water vendors, Its not confusion more like indecisiveness and trying to differentiate placebo from actual effects. I suggest pretty much the first thing you do after you take the cap is get water right away, even if you don't plan on drinking it for awhile. The anxiety is accompanied with a butterflies feeling in my stomach but then usually like 10-15 minutes after onset one strong note from the music takes me away and I start rolling!

As long as there is a strong consistent rhythm section it will be great. With all the other instruments Flogging Molly uses, I think it will be better than most other punk would be on MDMA, Their is Electronic music that's basically punk-ish. If there is doce do ing, high energy and fun stuff like that it'll be great.

Make sure you have water and gum, maybe a cigarette too if you smoke.

 

Alright, I know exactly what you mean. Almost the exact same thing happens every time coming up on 2c-i. And yeah, I think Molly is dynamic enough to keep me going the whole time... I mean, I feel like I'm on drugs when I see them sober lol

I don't smoke except for when I'm tripping sometimes and menthols are especially :drool5: water might be the only problem as once I'm in the pit, you have to pry my cold dead body away from it until the last note is played... I won't be stupid though... 4 days!!! I'm gonna shit myself

You should try to riverdance at the flogging molly show!!! That would be hilarious to see, some hot ass tattooed girl with her eyes rolling in the back of her head start river dancing. LOL!

 

bahahahaha I actually took some traditional Irish step dancing classes when I was a wee lass... I'll be rockin' the fuck out regardless. Molly pits are just one big undulating blob of dancing fools. I may even skank!
