mystical green beings of light, plants and trees are gaian communicators. they are linked through her in an abstract way in comparison to our human existence and knowledge. darwin thought plants were spiritual beings. they are difficult to percieve through human mind. plants have been proven through experiment to be aware of their surroundings and events and even the thoughts of people. one man, Cleve Backster, sprang into the interest of plant consciousness, when a plant had been being monitored for activity using a lie detector. the plant showed little excitation and was displaying what would be result of fatigue and boredom in a human lie detector test. this was so in a controlled environment on constant scale. cleve was just drinking coffee and watching in the laboratory, a facility no one else was in at the time. it was only him and the plant, and the plant was boring for a long time. so he had a thought, hours later: what if he burned the leaf on the plant, and he pictured a match and a flame over the leaf....the needle on the monitor [FONT="] flew to the top of the chart.
