^^ holy shit whats the full story on that? while i understand the seriousness of the charge told by the officer at the end of the video, there are several things wrong, first of all you see the suspect fully complying with the plain-clothes officer, and while slowly getting on the ground he out of nowhere gets kicked in the fucking face HARD. secondly if you look at the suspects firearm you can clearly see that it still has its trigger lock on, so there wasnt really any reason for the kick in the face, its not like he could have quickly squeezed off any shots. now the camera is still pretty shaky so idk if he was going into his jacket or pocket with the hand you cant really see, so its not a definite case of brutality. but if he wasnt, the only thing i can think of is that he wasnt getting on the ground fast enough for the officer which would only call for louder orders from the officer not a kick to the face. and honestly if i was that guy and had a weapon drawn on me, i would be going just as slow, why? cuz i wouldnt want an accidental sudden move getting me shot. id really want to see the whole story if you can find it
The man didn't have the gun on him, it was in the back of his truck. You can't just go around kicking people in the face. He was unarmed, and on his knees. I saw a video of him getting out of prison and the right side of his face is seriously bruised and his eye is blood shot red. I hope he sues for everything he can get, and the officer gets fired. I doubt anything more than a suspension will come of this. They need to start making real consequences for police officers who do this kind of thing. Right now it's just a bit of bad press and a slap on the wrist, then they go right back to doing the same shit. I bet if the lawsuits/lawyers were taken off everyone's pay they'd think twice before doing something like this. I found the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEPMrZ6fVpU&feature=channel"]YouTube - Buddy Tavares denies allegation Him and his wife sound a bit fishy. It sounds like he was up to no good, but that doesn't warrant a kick to the face.
well with that information it was definitely brutality. the charges against him are very serious though, and if he is guilty it would be a shame for him to walk because of the unnecessarily violent actions of the arresting officers.
