I don't normally post any of my poetry and since I have nothing to do right now and I have a feeling in my heart I wrote this for someone I truly like. If you happen to see I'm sure you'll know it's for you. As I lay awake looking to the star, I notice a twinkle from afar, As I rose, I started to see, A beautiful star fall towards me. I begin to question, Is this a dream? Is this real? As I looked on, The star fell in front of me. I walked over to take a glance, The wonders where worth the advance. A woman unlike any other, Hair as beautiful as the Earth, Smile as bright as the sun, Voice as enchanting as the ocean. I looked onward not knowing what to say, Never have I laid eyes upon such a beauty in all my day, I asked her name, She looked and smiled. Time passes by that day. Each time I see her I begin to say, This heavenly star is as real as can be. I'll fight my hardest to show my worth, You'll find that my time is worth, Time is all but worth a chance. No matter what you say, No matter what the out come, I'll stay and wait.
