    I find myself standing among crowds
    of average women in average clothes leading
    normal lives.
    And each has a pocket of cash and a free magazine
    passed to them, us, as we entered.

    We push and fight our way to clothes and try them on
    then remember we have thighs.
    And we stand in awe of the absensce of men
    and wonder why we spend
    so much time outside our lives.

    Nice, subtle commentary on society.
    The last stanza left me dumbfounded.

    Sometimes I think being female is like belonging to a cult. You've captured that cleverly here.
