To be even more simple yet gigantic, Youtube. Fuck Google. You can't log into youtube anymore without creating a Google account.

Google own Youtube.
I don't mind if it is "In house"...
I find it rather invasive of an unrelated website requiring me to sign in to Facebook.
Yeah, I've got a Facebook account and I'll never be posting on the particular website mentioned here, but still...It's acting as an App' on Facebook and I HATE the App's on Facebook.

as for facebook..there is a way to remove your number...and its only there because people added it...usually for cell phone widgets etc...

What really sucks about Facebook is that once you sign up for Facebook,you are permanently in their database. There is no way to delete your account; all you can do is deactivate it and even then you can still be tagged in photos and your information is stored by Facebook for when you reactivate. My account is deactivated but I almost feel like its pointless. Facebook can still sell my information.

Simple Answer, You Can't, Your Best Bet Is To Have A "Sex Change" Operation....

In The End That Route Would Be Simpler And Less Painfull Than Trying To Change

It is in house, but it's still google showing all power is corrupting. I mean 5 years ago when google was still hip and cool no one could ever imagine google buying something than forcing you to have an account.

Granted it is in house due to the fact Google owns Youtube, Youtube is still it's own independent subsidiary, it's still a dick move though. I mean it's like if A&P and Stop n Shop were owned by the same company, and you only had a discount card for Stop N Shop since it's the only one you ever go to, than you go there one day and they say you need a card from both stores to use just the one.
