within the last week i've had two totally different dreams with the same exact 'problem' happening in them gum! i'm chewing gum but it has become all funky like gum does when you chew it too long. so i pull it out of my mouth, it sorta sticks to my teeth a bit. i throw the glob away... but here's the problem.. since i couldn't pull all of it out, the little bits left grow until i have too much funky gum in my mouth.. this happens several times in the two dreams... what could this possibly mean?
nah.. not big on gum chewing. even when i do chew one piece i have to spit it out after about 20 minutes.
that is so messed up...i've had those same kinds of dreams, where the gum keeps growing in my mouth. don't eat gum or caramel or anything stickier than a mentos as a result. i wish like hell i knew what it meant.
the only thing i can figure it it has something to do with my feeling of going in circles with some problems i've been having. the throwing out the gum represents my feeling i have 'beat' it.. but i don't really and my problem grows and comes back.. :frown: ... but gum? so odd!
You're probably on the right track regarding your circular problems. Also consider that gum is sticky. It doesn't want to let go. Even when it loses its appeal, you find you can't get rid of it. Sounds like it could be a relationship situation that you've outgrown but you may be finding that realization difficult to accept or act upon.
^^I do agree, however, are you panicking in the dream because of the gum being stuck? That could mean you are nervous about something health-wise. Any time I have dreams about my body where I panic, it's usually because I am nervous about something.
current relationships? no.. could be some from my past that i am struggling with still to "get over". i'm completely calm in the dreams.. but very annoyed, which in a way would make sense with the relationship thing.. but it's not an intimate relationship.. but several people from my past that will always have a finger in my business and i can't stand it. there is no way to get 100% 'rid' of them until death.
Well that could be it. Or it could be that you feel it hard to express your feelings via talking so the gum represents your mouth being restricted. As in it fills so much you physically and literally can't voice anything you want to.
