Thanks for the warm welcome Gerilla & JimmyJoe. Happy to meet my neighbors too Gerilla, I have enjoyed San Diego since I've been here. I have been trying to go different places and explore, there's a lot here to do plus I enjoy the art and entertainment in the area have been abundant.

Hello to you! I hope you're enjoying HIP! I've been here 4 years now and still love it! As for Cali? Nope. Still haven't been to it. I have been to Nashville though, since you mentioned Tennessee. :)

    HI KL71,

That's ok about not being to Cali yet, I haven't made it to Connecticut myself. I was living over in the Gatlingburg area when I moved to Cali, I was raised a little northeast of Nashville though.

Thanks for the info Webb! I visited Nashville last August. It was some time after the devastating spring floods and some time before the flooding (to a lesser extent) by September. I stopped by LP Field, the state capitol, Ryman Auditorium and the foot of Bridgestone Arena when I was there on that given Sunday. I doubt I'll be able to make it down there again, but it would be nice! :)

    Thanks for the welcome Toarpix.

Gerurilla, I live about two miles from downtown SD, I ride my bike to Seaport Village or just downtown to geo cache or other things like that. I can see the Coronado Bride from the house. The area is nice.

I'm glad you like Nashville KL, I always enjoyed the area I grew up in, about two hours from there. Tennessee has some beautiful places, Big South Fork is a gorgeous National Park outside of the Jamestown area. Also Gatlinburg's Smoky Mountains has a lot of good trails to offer too, unfortunately it stays slammed with traffic coming through Pigeon Forge. Midnight Hole is a really nice hike outside of The Smoky's just about into North Carolina off of I40.

Cool I went to Balboa Park last week, I like the downtown area. I live close to SDSU.
