I just wondered. Would be nice if they came out with some cable showing that governments suppressed key research, or fabricated results or paid MPs to vote against it or something. It might help sway public opinion in our favour.
I don't necessarily think it is the government doing it mainly because they don't need to try. Pharmaceutical companies, beer companies, and tobacco companies lobby the shit out of politicians and own organizations like drugfreeamerica (lol, the irony).
I believe the information wikileaks has is specifically related to the issues / wars in the middle east. It would be hilarious (in a sick way) if there actually was something like you describe.
in my town they have a big yellow sign that says "report drugs 800xxxxblah blah, drug free town" right in front the rite aid drug store.. fucking stupid, if you ask me.
I would call that shit and report that in front of me is a large neon drug dealers sign, even says "drug store"!
What could wikileaks publish that we don't already know. Hell our last 3 presidents all admitted to smoking weed(Well one went the "I didn't inhale" route then laughed about it), and there's still never federal action on any drug law.
