That is fact. I don't recall seeing any bad episodes.

I want to introduce my gf to the show, wondering what you think a good introductory episode would be.

Personally I love the episodes "Bobby goes nuts" from season 6 and "Naked ambition" from season 4.

    What about you?

Who is your favorite character? Hank always cracks me up because on the exterior, he is set in his ways and conservative but always ends up deviating from what is expected of him and gets himself into pretty crazy circumstances.

King of the Hill is one of the best shows ever, period.

Cotton was great, it was sad when he died, I'd never hear "I killed fiddy men!" again

I'll tell ya' whut - I agree it was a great show. I loved Dale. Obviously patterned after one of my literary heroes, Hunter Thompson, he was delightfully demented, selfish and an all-round asswipe. Yet the writers (and voice actor) still managed to make him likeable.

I also loved how the "last episode" despite the fact it wasn't supposed to be the last network episode and had to be put together quick managed to get a "Ugh, 6a.m. and already that boy ain't right" line right at the start.

A lot of younger people hate it because it's humor is more dry and revolves around full plot lines and well developed characters combined with societal norms vs fart and puke jokes on Family Guy.

To put into perspective, KOTH was canceled for the Cleavland show, the freakin Cleavland show

the king of the hill is probably my least favorite adult cartoon...still better than a lot of shows on tv though. my favorite episode hands down is the one where bobby takes women's self defense classes. that episode was hilarious. "that's my purse!" "you dont know me!" whack!

Considering how long the series lasted I don't think it could be called underated, although the humour definitely went over a lot of peoples heads. I didn't care for the last few seasons, but overall I loved the series.

My favourite episode is the one where the Hill and Kahn families go to Mexico and Dale sneaks with them. A bunch of them get in 'trouble' with the law causing Hank, Dale and Kahn to attempt to sneak over the border with a bunch of illegal Mexicans. Lol

You know, I liked the show when I was a kid, probably mostly because it was animated and colorful, but I never really got the jokes. Now that I'm older and I have Netflix, I've been having King of the Hill marathons and that show is freaking hilarious. I'm not sure I have a favorite, though I have to say I really liked Luann's boyfriend Lucky and all his friends.

But...if the show hadn't been canceled, it definitely wouldn't be the same these days because Brittany Murphy passed away. I don't know if anyone else could truly capture that ditzy lost Luann voice.

It was awesome that Boomhauer wound up being a Texas ranger when you finally found out what his job is, and that the zip code on the ID was in Oklahoma. Oh god Oklahoma *raises fist in anger*

King Of The Hill is definitely the shizz. It would be impossible for me to choose a favorite episode, but Dale is my favorite character, without a doubt.

As much as I love the show, I HATE Peggy, for some reason. She's really annoying.

I agree. I didn't watch many of them but I did when it started out, it always made me laugh. I like it more than the simpsons or southpark.

I worked in a metal works factory a few years ago and there was a dutch guy who worked there who looked like Hank Hill. I always used to called him Hank and ask him if he had any propane accessories for sale, but he never got the joke. Nice bloke though nonetheless.

Same people who made Beavis and Butthead, which apparently is making a comeback.

I love that show! I've been saying for years how under-rated it is... The problem is that you have to really pay attention to it to understand the jokes. You can't have it on in the background and only watch the TV for the punchlines like you can with Family Guy.
