i fuckin hate school!!!!!11

i have a writting assighnment to do every day for my modern lit class and i just hate it ive been up for 5 hours trying to finish this and i just cant bring myself to do it and i hate that i have to.

 

waaaaah waaaaaah im able to get an education waaaah

 

its hard and its anoying

 

You know school is there to dumb down people to the point that they dont understand our monetary system and wont make a revolution because they dont understand whats going on...

 

just do it man. stop procrastinating on here. i had to write stuff like that every day to and respond to all other 25 students stories as well

 

I actually enjoy doing school work sometimes. it is relaxing. I like doing stuff that takes mental focus. it is very rewarding.

as a young kid I hated it but now I enjoy all the stuff I used to hate. as a kid I hated work in general. now I enjoy mowing the lawn, I enjoy doing math problems, I enjoy pulling weeds, enjoy exercise, I enjoy cooking.

i find it is all your mental process. once you understand meditation and how to control you mind than everything you do is enjoyable. I can also sit and do nothing at all and not get bored and still be enjoying myself.

once you learn to master your mind life is very rewarding.

 

I loved writing assignments. Very few teachers will turn down a paper that is well-written, even if it is not necessarily directly related to the topic requested.

Make it a game: find out how you wildly you can misinterpret the teacher's instructions each time, defend your point with good reasons, and profit! Building on what Rugor said above - once you can "master your mind" you can make anything fun and exciting. Oh, and try to learn something. If you do not want to learn, give up the seat.

 

In fact the essay was about why critical thinking about our monetary system was bad, and plagiarizing from the federal reserve is mandatory.

I'm just going to call you a moron to be safe in the event the sarcasm was inadequate.

 

Seems like you need all the writing practice you can get, buddy.

Sorry, had to take a jab. But seriously, I hate writing too, so I know how you feel. I always waited 'til the last minute to start like a 10 page report at 3 in the morning when it was due first period. My abhorrence for writing is a big part of why I never pursued college and would much prefer to go to a tech or trade school where I can focus on just the subject I want to learn and not waste time on fuckin' English and literature and all that shit I'm simply not interested in.

But in the meantime, just buckle down and stop whining, get it done and over with and once you graduate you'll never have to write another fuckin' paper ever again if you don't want to

If you are spending that much time on a single assignment everyday, you obviously need more practice, as was said above. I used to be (and still am) super slow at getting papers done too. I spend way more time thinking then actually writing, which was the problem. Sometimes you just need to quit procrastinating and just write whatever comes to mind, even if it look bad. You can always edit your writing later once you have something done.

Get it done early so you can move on to other things instead of hating that you have to do it.

I miss school. I wish I could afford to be a perpetual student. Whenever my bills are caught up and I find a job with flexible hours I'm going back to school and I'm going to stay in school until I earn a Ph.D in something. I love writing papers. My roommate is in school and sometimes when he has a writing assignment I'll do the assignment too, just for fun.

To the OP: you may hate school now but by writing all those papers you are stretching your mental muscles and learning discipline, both of which will help you later in life. As far as writing papers goes, you should just write what comes to mind and then go back and edit. Editing is less time consuming than making sure every sentence is perfect the first go-round.

You do realize economics classes are available at both the high school and university level, right?

I never took physics in high school because my state has low standards in education lol, and I didn't need it in college. I might take a physics course too. This is all too exciting

 

It is! That's why I wish people would take the free school on here more seriously...so many people on here have so many skills that people would wanna learn and having classes on it here would be awesome

 

I don't know about all colleges, but UC Berkley has some classes up, I think something like 10-15 full semester length classes. I got too into it once, either that physics class or an economics class I was watching I almost raised my hand to ask a question before remembering it was youtube.
