I personally could care less. if I saw a famous person it would be no big deal to me. I do not get why people look up to them so much. who cares that they make a lot of money or you seen them in some movie.

you really know nothing about that person at all unless you personally know them. the rest is your imagination. what you see in a movie is fake(an actor acting).

why waste your mind being so interested in somebody famous?

I honestly do not find a actor of whatever any different than the normal person I see shopping at a grocery store. just a person like everybody else.

if I saw a famous athlete I would be like cool they are good at that sport and that is it and continue on with what I was doing and not think much about it.

why waste your mental energy on something so pointless as a celebrity?

I feel ya...although I'd screw a celebrity just to say I did it...but some people go insane over meeting famous people. My boyfriend has met tons of famous people because of his jobs and being in the military and stuff and he says the same thing...they are people like me and you, they shit and even FART...get over the fact that they are some kind of superhero

I was on a so called field trip when Bill Clinton was president. We heard his car was driving out so we waited....a hour. His car turns on our corner facing us. Turns on his light, waves and smiles to everyone, and thats it. I was thinking "wtf thats all? lol". I really could care less but, if I meet some of my favorite music artists. I would be excited and most likely nervous as shit. ^_^

my friend met angelina jolie and said she looked weirdly anorexic in person. tiny body, huge head. That pretty much made me realize that celebrities are just smoke and mirrors.

I do think it would be really cool to meet someone whose music or acting I really admired, not because they're famous but because I really like their work.

In 1989, I met Jay Leno at an airport in Toronto.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back and kick him in the gnads yelling, "This is for Conan"

For the past two weeks I've been working next door to an out of the way gym full of fancy sports names (and other wealthy people).

Players from the Phoenix suns, ASU Sundevils, etc. are going there. Arizona is like ranked third from last in the Country as far as wins, but I still want an autograph from someone anyway. I don't even know who is who as I don't ever watch any of their games. I guess it's the 'look, it's a celeb' thing..

Some of their cars are something to look at though. An Escalade with 30 inch rims, Camaro SS's, a Bentley.

We're not allowed to approach them, for any reason (jobsite rules).

I guess I wish I could just get a photo of me next to their giant pile of money, and get it's autograph.

I met Peter Falk when he was filming Roommates (awesome fucking movie) on my street, but I was like 4 and don't remember (though I remember them filming)
That's pretty awesome cause it's Peter fucking Falk

I also saw Jake Gyllenhal filming round here, not so awesome.

The only two famous people that I have met are Martha Stewart and Bill Clinton. Martha Stewart was doing a show about rafting the river I live next to and it was actually kind of cool.

I've also seen Woody Harrelson from a distance.

I would love to meet Larry David

I don't really get the whole fascination with E-Channel and all that, but it is something to talk about I guess. I've played lazer tag with Dennis Quaid, and I met the deputy PM of Cambodia and drink with his sons.

    Interesting anecdotes.

What are you doing Saturday between 1 and 4?

When I was in Ocala, Florida, I saw John Travolta's limousine. I did not know much about him, so I wasn't excited. Even today, the movie I've seen him in is Carrie.

However, I did have the oppurtunity to meet Robert Englund and that was a thrill. Although I didn't have much time to meet him, I did learn that he is a big fan of the Beatles. That's really it. But it still was exciting. He also gave me an autographed picture of Freddy Krueger, which hangs in my room.

In conclusion, it depends on the celebrity and what you think of them.

Never seen Pulp Fiction? Or FaceOff. Those and Carrie. Three good movies out of like 50.

    Nick Cage has better odds.

tommy lee jones lives here in san antonio, texas.
i see him from time to time. never have had a conversation with him though. the most i have ever said to him is, "hi."

sometimes i see him in a restaurant called "soupersalads." one time we were both there, and there was a woman a few tables away from him, who kept staring at him.
jones got fed up with her and went over to her and had a few words with her... i don't blame him one bit for telling her off.
makes me glad that i'm a "nobody."
i sure would hate to live the life of a celebrity.
it would no doubt be fun for awhile but, it would sure get old quick for me!
i love my quite life too much!

My Grandma used to run into Mr. Rogers at the grocery store, now that would've been a celebrity I'd've cared to meet.

Come to think of it, the celebrity that made me the most excited to see (actually earned a Facebook post, something I rarely do) was the producer/narrator of a ton of local PBS shows. He's like Pittsburgh's Mike Rowe.

I don't understand you wasting your mental energy on the wasted mental energy of someone else.

Me, I'd love to have dinner with Bill Clinton
