Dreaded sharp points/ends

I am planning to make dreadlocks soon, and i have this question about making the dreads have sharp ends (instead of round ends...)
Like the little guy from Bomfunk MC's freestyler - Marlo Shellman i think hes name is.
I have searched all over the internet for answers... didnt have any luck with it though.
Maybe you guys knows some methods to make such kind of dreadlocks?

I don't think sharp is the right word, I mean having sharp hair could be dangerous
you don't have to do anything to have loose ends, is the round ends that need to be "made" (in most cases at least). If they end up round just comb them out

Those are just loose ends.
Some people's loose ends look sharp and some are wispy and some are curly.
My straight natured hair forms 'sharp' ends.

 

To get loose ends like that don't do anything
To get round ends you may need to intervene.

do nothing at all, and anyone who says that you can do something to help it along is completely full of shit (ie palmrolling, keeping the ends combed) It does it itself, and anything you do to try and change that is going to make hair fall out and make it look worse

lol waxy dreads wouldn't blow in the wind when the train comes, even backcombed ones would barely blow around

 

My husband has suggested this.
razor blade tips.
Then choreograph one careful and kickass fight scene with them.
