I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. Do you have any experience with this condition? My doctor said I may have difficulty conceiving. Is this true? My aunt had to go through a total hysterectomy when she was 27. I feel like this is going to happen to me. I want to have a baby. I would be devastated if I couldn't do this. My b/f of 3.5 years wants to wait about 5 years. How do I deal with this?
Well, get a second opinion before thinking about a hysterectomy. Most of them are unnecessary, and the aftereffects are not of the good. Don't know much about endometriosis, though. My older sister has it, but we don't talk much and she's pushing menopauseland anyway. I've heard that the Pill can make it easier.
No no no I would never get a hysterectomy unless absolutely necessary. I may start the pill again, but i feel as if the pill made this issue worse because I was on the pill for 5 years and stopped. Then this issue surfaced.
gf in my past had it. yes it was difficult to get her peggo.. And we fucked alot.. I assumed she was on the pill, she was not and we never used protecting.. I knocked up 3 other women - so it wasnt me.. one of those 3 aborted without my knowledge..
I had endometriosis, unfortunatly mine ended in a hyterectomy. Im 33, but I have 3 childeren and didnt want anymore. However I wish I would never have had to have it done. I have to get a hormone shot once a month. And heven watch out if I miss one. Lol, def get a second opinion, if ya have any questions lemme know lovin ya!
Please let us know how you are doing How did you get diagnosed? I am actually really worried that I have it, but I'm not sure.
MY moon was very painful sometimes puttin me in bed a majority of the time. Sex hurt always, so I went to the ob and they did an ultrasound, then a scope and we went from there,
My girlfriand has endometriosis, she has had it for as long as I can remember (been together from childhood). We were both told we would have difficulty conceiving children. Apparantly the Doc said my sperm was basically wheelchair bound. So with her endometriosis the prognosis was'nt good. 3 daughters down the line and planning for one more in the near future. My girlfriend says that the only time she is free of the suffering from her condition, is when she is acctually pregnant. As for the pill, that inflames her situation beyond belief. And she very often has very heavy and irregular menstrual cycles, such as now she is god bless her 4 weeks into a period. But different people suffer different effects of endometriosis, some people have it and never know they have it. Whilst others suffer and struggle to get through everyday. I know one thing for sure, what I have to witness her go through. I would never wish anybody to have it. The shocking thing is, with all the worlds medical capabilities. And there is nothing they can do without resorting to a hysterectamy.
