i know i have bipolar, ptsd and anxiety.never really bothered my sleep though. im always fuckin tired!the other day i went to bed around 11,woke up at 7.tired as hell.went out and did a few things and went back home.layed down around noon and woke up around 6pm.went back to bed around 10pm and woke up around 630 yesterday morning.i shouldnt be tired but i am tired as hell. i used to be able to stay up 4 or 5 days straight repoing cars, sleep for a day and go do it all over again without being tired.used to stay upallnight on the computer or playstation, sleep for 3 hours and go to my shop till midnight. i have no energy.dont want to do a damn thing but sitting around doing nothing is getting boring.i know something is wrong wit me but no idea what.gonna gosee a doctor but was wondering what it may be so i know what to expect i guess.
could be meds, poor diet etc etc could be symptoms of your other mental health conditions, who knows could loads of different reasons lol, as always exercise and eat healthy, it does wonders my friend
I'm not at all a doctor and this is no diagnosis, but anxiety and depression can both wreak havoc on one's quality of sleep.
the sleeping for a day and half isnt an everyday thing, maybe once every 3 weeks.im usually up till around 2AM and wake up about 630 no meds other then ibuprofen for headaches. diet?what diet?i really dont eat that often.when i do its usualy a quick burger or something.ive never been a big eater either.i do drink mountain dew and coffe like i should have an IV for them.but i have been drinkin like that since i was 15 so thats nothing new
Blame your diet.. The human body is an energy reactor. It reacts to what you put in it. If you load up on low fuel foods. you get no energy. very simple..
Hi, I had the same problem and was on some pretty strong meds, but i complained about being over tired and they did alot of blood work on me and found out that i was terriably aniemic. I was told to take 400 mg of iron 3 times a day and after a week or so the problem was pretty much nipped in the bud. Good luck and god bless. Christine
reallycantblame my diet.ive never been a big eater.my ex used to get pissed cuz she would make a nice dinner and i wouldnt eat italways been the typical mechanic, truck driver.mcdonalds, subs, dunkin donuts.but never been tired like i get now. i used to go 2 or 3 days without eating.
anemia depression low B vitamins some illnesses present as fatigue,,for instance, mononeucleosis. have a blood test, see if your iron is in the norm or not could be a lot of things. If your sleeping time is not productive (short of REM sleep, or deep sleep), then your "batteries" aren't really getting re-charged. Seek solutions by doing searches and a lot of reading. Maybe something will begin to make sense. Otherwise, it may take a trip to see a "professional".
Livin' on mcdonalds, subs, dunkin donuts.. All a friend can say is "Ain't it a shame? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7azWVMY5oWg"]YouTube - Truckin' - Grateful Dead
all those nights of staying up and not getting enough sleep has caught up with you. just get 8 hours of sleep every night and take a 2 hour nap in the evening around 5 or something. also I remember a post back you said you were quiting smoking weed after crashing your car. so if you did quit weed then I always noticed that my sleep is messed up after quiting. I always feel tired for a long time after quiting.
well havent totally quit but have slowed down a lot.my sleep has always been screwed up but i was never tired like i have been lately.its starting to suck.no energy, dont feel like doing anything.
Maybe you're not getting enough B vitamins. Those give you more energy. It's probably a lack of iron, or B vitamins.
Wow... such a variety of answers... Without drugs, I am on a two month cycle... During the depressive episodes, I would literally lay in bed waiting to die... That hasn't happened in a long time though, as I keep my swings under control by smoking weed... Works great... I never hit the killer depressions and never try to fly to the moon now... Unfortunately, it doesn't change the underlying chemical imbalance that causes the problem... so it manifests itself as tiredness now. During the time that I would normally crash... I smoke twice as much weed as normal... and never quite shut down... but tired... man... I could sleep the whole time... The worst of it is, I still can't sleep more then an hour or two at a time during it. That part actually works well for me in terms of life though as I can keep stoves going all night... lol
