in the news recently, republican new hampshire state representative martin hardy offered up a novel solution to an old social problem: i would argue that this would cost a bit of money, would it not, to build camps, transport the prisoners, guard them, deal with the corpses - no? taxpayer money? perhaps we should instead work them to death, make them be productive for once in their useless lives? apparently the taxpayers of new hampshire agreed and mr hardy is a private citizen once more, resigning soon after his eureka moment . . . meanwhile in kansas, state representative virgil peck has killed two birds with one stone -- solving the illegal immigration problem and inventing a new outdoor sport: it should be noted that the feral hogs proposal includes shooting them from a helicopter, what fun! sadly, it turns out that he was just "speaking like a southeast Kansas person" and didn't really mean it remind me to stay the hell away from southeast kansas . . .
^^^ oh, that's okay, those guys are criminals, that's called paying back their debt to the prison corporation ceo -- uh, i mean, society right?
