I have my lobes at a 0g right now, and I'd love to get my 2nd holes up to an 10 or 8(they are a standard 16g). Would they ever form together to make one giant, gross hole? I do not want this at all.
they shrink back down a lot. and not all jobs care about piercings. you can also have surgery to sew them shut if they get to fucked up
Good question :daisy: Depending on the size you stretch them to they can go back. Haha but once you go really big you need surgery to go back. Also I find when I put in plugs no one really can tell the difference unless they really look for it. So there are work appropriate ones as well. I plan to have mine forever.
yeah as wild flower said, noone really notices if you wear plugs, unless theryre huge!! and people that get them huge, im sure theyre aware of career choices when they do it :sunny: i plan on keepin mine forever too. i love them :love: what size are yours?

:2thumbsup: i dont work in the sizes you work in.. i use mm so im not sure how to answet your question. i've seen people stretching their ears twice tho. it looks cool. id love to.
im sure if you got them stretched again they wouldnt form into one big one. ask your piercer, they'll know how far you can go with out that happening
i have stretched earlobes .. only a size 12mm .. and i wear plugs to work so no one says jack .. .. i dont think id go bigger then a 14mm though .. ..
In regards to the person who asked what people with stretched earlobes do for jobs: I've only seen a few youngsters with 'em. But everybody I know that has gauges are definitely my elders. Most of them have creative jobs. I think the smart thing to do is to gauge your ears when you know you can rise above corporate standards and make a living without being dependent on waiting for somebody else to hire ya. I don't have gauges though, but I am in a position where I could do so without worrying about employment. At least, without worrying as much as people without gauges need to.
yay ... my friend has just gone to an 18mm .. but i think for me its abit big .. my daughters bf has 20mm .. lol .. :2thumbsup:

As long as you keep a healthy distance between the piercings you should be fine unless yo do some heavy play with them. As for types of jobs people with piercings get, I work in advertising and my piercings are not an issue. Once you establish yourself professionally many companies will hire you on your merits.
I have a 10mm and 6mm both in my left lobe, and so far that has been fine. As long as you keep them at reasonable sizes and there is enough room between the two like mentioned, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
