I'm bored, so I thought I would share the most disgusting dream I remember. It starts with me walking in a forest during the winter. There was only a hint of sunshine and lots of wind. I remember finding finding a crying baby who had been abandoned by his parents. The baby had a large gash in his chest. I picked up the baby and examined the wound. Then, the wound began to pulsate lika a beating heart. The more pulses that came, the larger it got. Suddenly, a seven foot creature sprang forth from the wound. It reminded me of Baphomet, except it had the head of a lizard. What disgusted me was that it had no skin; its anatomy was revealed in every last gory detail. I could easily see its ribcage, heart, liver, and muscles. Flies were attracted to the beast and I recall being repulsed by its stench, though I do not remember it. It looked around, confused. Its eyes met mine and the creature shrieked furiously. I almosr ran, but something about the beast fascinated me, so I stayed. Blood poured from the creature's mouth and it bent over, vomiting the blood that came in gallons. After a while, it gagged and out came a flayed cow, which attracted more flies. Then another one. Then another one. The creature looked at the cows for a few seconds, then turned to me and his countenance suggested disgust and torment. That's when I woke up. I have no ideal what brought this dream in my head, but whatever it was, I don't want to see it again.
Exactly why I don't do any of the following- Watch many movies involving gore, blood, violence etc. especially not any where around bed time. or: Read many books that get involved with details about gore, blood, violence etc. especially not any where around bed time. That kinda thing stays with ya, know what I mean?
Okay, I kind of remember now. When I had that dream, I was in the middle of reading Clive Barker's The Hellbound Heart. Beforehand, I had been reading his Books of Blood series. So, I suppose I had Clive Barker on the mind when I had this dream. If you have not read his works, his earlier material is so gory that you might want to read them with an apron and a pair of gloves.
