My friend has a mac that is running poorly and the only thing I can see that could be wrong is that he has a butt-load of copies of the entire system including all the aps and system folders and other stuff I don't know how to get rid of which is taking up half the space on his computer. He's lost his install disks, so starting over isn't an option, but I have no idea how else to get rid of all those redundant copies of the system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
