Hopkins/Twin cities, MN looking to travel west towards California

hello. i am looking for a ride to california, starting in the hopkins/twin cities area of minnesota. san francisco, ca would be great, but i don't have to get there (the closer the better). i have gas money, but i don't drive. i have one road bag, and a tent.

i am very handy on a jobsite/remodeling type construction if there are any jobs that come up and cash is needed.
