I was washing my hair tonight and I noticed most shampoo and conditioner bottles only have English and French translations whereas everything else has English and Spanish and sometimes French. Do they think Spanish people don't use shampoo...or they don't need to know that rinsing and repeating is recommended?? Gasp. Is it just me or do I buy biased shampoo?
lol^ I look at any products with that pig Latin Spanish on it and wonder why we as a nation are so accommodating to their culture when it is clear that the Mexican invasion army is doing us harm. But honestly, I know the answer to this.
Spanish people in my town don't use shampoo...they reuse the grease they cooked with the night before
Yikes. Anyway, was your shampoo made in Le Quebec, or somewhere else in America lite? They accommodate the dead language there.
i use american shampoo, english only! no seriously, i just checked and it's only in english. i have to assume the french instructions were included due to the well-publicized fact that the french are new to the concept of hygiene, so it was probably considered particularly important to make instructions specifically for them.
I see some pretty damn offensive and culturally ignorant posts in here. Good job, keep it up. :2thumbsup:
My boyfriend informs me that Axe only has english instructions. Gasp again! I wonder what French and Spanish people think it is...probably weapons in a bottle or something.. Smells good though. His hair is like silk after using that stuff.
My shampoo is Garnier, a sub division of Loreal. Idk it has spanish on the back lol but it sounds fruity french.
I heard a long time ago that bank ATMs use braille and english because they're required to use two languages and they don't want to lower themselves to be communicative with the mexicans. perhaps shampoo companies feel the same way.
Well "conditioner" sounds nicer in French than Spanish. Maybe they're trying to make shampoo sound more elegant to boost the sales. You've got to admit you would want to buy some "revitalisent" over "acondicionador".
