I've had this awesome bone pipe for a few years, and their are just loads of resin caked inside of it. I don't smoke resin raw, but I save it to add kind of as "Base" for making hash out of Kief. Would rubbing alcohol be a good way to get the resin out of the pipe, or would that ruin the bone? I just want to make this pipe last- Thanks!:2thumbsup:

well, i would not use alcohol, because it dries things out. dry bone is brittle. if it were me, i would boil it gently, use pipe cleaners to clean out the inside, and once it was clean and dry to the touch i would apply something to the outside as a protectant. a little natural oil (you could just rub an orange on it) or even a varnish type of thing. i would use oil myself. with wood pipes i think ive seen honey recommended, but i think thats for inside the bowl.
