Hi guys im new here and to the hole psychedelic experience. I really want to do some LSD but my friend was telling me that the people he talked to that did it said that his hole group of friends after one use got HPPD. I know that this is a risk of taking LSD but I found it odd that the hole group got it from the same batch of LSD at the same time. Is it possible that the LSD in my area is bad? I really want to trip soon, I just dont think that shrooms are for me and from what I hear mescaline is almost never mescaline unless you extract it your self. Any words of advice?
Sounds like your friend is feeding you BS and probably has no idea what they are talking about. HPPD can effect a person after one dose of a psychedelic, but that is rather rare. Also HPPD can occur with ANY psychedelic, so don't be fooled into thinking it's only from LSD use.
You're right about the mescaline. HPPD can be caused by any psychedelic, so even if it was the world's cleanest LSD, it could have caused what you speak of. Sounds unlikely though, and I bet that "whole group of friends" does a lot of drugs.
Agree with above posters... Also, LSD doesn't tend to be 'bad' or cut in any way, so if it's actually LSD (as opposed to, say, PCP) it's almost impossible for it to be bad. LSD is LSD and whenever you take it you have about a 5% chance of getting HPPD anyway, I wouldn't worry too much. Happy tripping!
Yeah my vision is pretty fucked up after extensive LSD use. I'm not sure about one trip though, everyones different. I also don't believe there's "bad acid" so to speak unless it is simply just not acid or very degraded.
