A great strip from my baby brother's comic. http://www.permanentlyseated.com/80.html Please read it, he's amazing and hilarious and I'm so proud of him.
The comics are very cute and he is very talented. But I do have the slightest and only smallest bone to pick with the subject of the original comic. I completely agree 100% when a parking lot has only a few handicap spaces towards the front, but I do have to complain when every single parking space even remotely close to the store becomes a handicap only space. I live in a small area without a huge population and the grocery store I shop at has slowly made every single space in front of the store a handicapped space. This doesn't make sense because towards the middle, those spaces get smaller and more cumbersome to enter and exit a vehicle, and then if you need to use the little incline at the doors, well, you have to maneuver yourself between cars and then go aaaallll the way around all the cars parked around you so you can get to the spot. It blew my mind when I saw that. Handicap spots are great and very much necessary, but places need to put some thought into location. Haha, and you thought I was going to complain about not getting to park up close to the store.
I do! lol, It started off seeming like I was going to complain about having to walk and then I realized I never park that close to the store even when it is available for everyone. So...it turned into the thought I had the other day when I noticed and thought, "There is no way handicapped people could easily get in and out of vehicles parked in those spaces." Ahaaaa, I tricked you.
What pisses me off is those who park in the expectant mother spots when they're clearly not pregnant, or female. I can't count how many times I've seen old ladies pull into those spots and get out of their car laughing about it.
I think we should have assigned parking spots, that'll take care of them. Don't park in your assigned spot? Your car gets towed to the nearest cliff.
Better yet, we could have a society of compassionate individuals who do good things simply because they feel it is the right thing to do. But yea, a tow truck would work too I guess.
Well your idea would never work because...well, just go out in public and hang around people for a little bit. There's no changing people...just...parking spots. And tow trucks.
His drawings are cute and I learned something new from it. Could've ended better. I really liked the next two about drawing. Hands are the worst.
