K, today i was watching this movie, and i have just realised how much i like it. does anyone else like this movie? Im not expecting alot of replies her tho, lol.
I like it, this film was the first film I saw in cinema, and I was very young then, but still I find ir really positive and nice. now I would love to see it again...
I'll admit that I was singing edelweiss to myself earlier on. It's a good film, although in all honesty, it is bloody long!
OH GOD NO!!! Im sorry I hate this film, probably because I was forced to watch that crap when I was a kid.... my mom and her sisters would watch it all the time. and those songs are so annoying... sorry
"these are a few of my favorite things" is really all about depression. they just didn't name it depression then. But yes I do like that movie, as a classic, it's not too bad. can't usually sit thru the whole thing anymore though.

I love the Sound of Music! I mean, it's really nothing like what really happened to the Von Trapp family, but still. As a little kid, my parents nicknamed me Brigitta because I would always have a book in my hands. I still love it today, can sing all the songs by heart.

I brag about my love for Disney movies and musicals! Watching them whenever I'm sad or stressed or mad, combined with knitting, has a weird calming effect on me. I make it a point of watching one Disney movie or musical a week to keep me sane, and Sound of Music is one of the ones I watch the most. =)
