So what exactly is the point of the electoral college? From what I understand it's just another way that the government makes the people's voice unheard. With that system in place our votes don't even count (or should i say your votes, because I can't vote). And I bet a lot of people don't even know what it's about, and they still think they're being heard by politicians. So what exactly is the point of voting if the people in the electoral college vote for us?

the wiki gives a perty good explanation...like voter fraud, the electoral college is preventing the real popular vote from having as much effect as if it was 'direct':

the danger of a Constitutional Convention is that almost anything might get changed therein....however, with the federal government generally ignoring the Constitution except when it suits their purposes???? who knows.

So pretty much our votes don't really count and the government only takes into consideration its rules/the foundation on which it was built when it's convenient for them... awesome :/

People don't like reality, they prefer illusions. People come to the truth about reality on their own. Most die in the matrix without ever knowing they are even in a matrix.
