Personally I enjoy my nod a lot, probably too much as I'm sure a lot of you on here do and although it's a great feeling it obviously isn't without dangers. I was just remined about this the other day when I lost a friend to an overdose and an aquaintance of mine OD'd a few months ago. These where both young, pretty healthy people that couldn't have been using for more then a couple years tops.

Has anyone else here lost a good friend to opiates? They seem like they are a lot more dangerous then almost any other type of drug. And what are the ways you can die when you overdo it? I always had the perception that you'd start to OD very shortly after taking the lethal shot but my friend seemed ok when she drove home and then I guess went to bed and just never got up. Is it possible that when she went to bed her heart rate and breathing naturally slowed down and combined with the effects of the heroin it was enough to cause death? If so does that mean that a lethal dose could be more if your're semi-awake and engaged then if you fully pass out?

Or is it more likely that you vomit in your sleep and choke on it? At first I assumed she went home and did another blast and that did it but the cops told me she didn't have any drugs or gear near her at all when they found her so that kind of rules that out.

I lost a real good friend to herion a few years ago. I can't directly answer your questions but I'm sure you could go immediately or stop breathing in your sleep. My friend died pretty quick from what I hear. I will say this I have done the drug and IMO it is the most lethal drug ever including OC's. I wouldn't wish herion addiction on my worst enemy. If you do it long enough it will get you. Awful, awful drug! When I was young I told myself I would never stick a needle in me and when the roxis quit working by sniffing them I did. Today I'm clean and I hope anybody out their that have had drugs destroy their life like me can find help. God bless our friends!

I had a close call of few months ago, Started taking morphine and at first 60 MG got be really really high, pretty soon even 200mg would only get me buzzed, I made the mistake of If 200mg is equal to Buzz than 600mg is equal to very high. Unconscious for over 24 hours, woke up nearly paralyzed and spent 5 days in the hospital with 2 IVs pumping me full on saline and a catheter trying to clean my liver. They never even gave me a shot of Narcan even though I told em it was morphine, I'm starting to think Alabama doctors are really stupid.

Wow sorry you guys for the loss but on my side of things I do smoke heroin now and again, I take alot of morphines but I pace myself incredibly. Mabey since I'm not addicted its not so bad because addicted people just use more and more of the drug to get what they once had and kills em. So I don't think responsible use is that bad you guys.,

just lost a good friend to heroin bout 5 months back..
I've also OD'd and died for 1 minute and 30 seconds. I mixed methadone with kpins a while back and OD'd. I was able to drive my friends home and i thought i was just real fucked up but I stopped breathing when i went to bed.
