Agression is one thing, but when it's just straight up violent, it pisses me off. I know this isn't anything new, but after seeing that video of a popular hardcore band beating on a kid that hit their singer during a recent show, I'm just dissapointed. What respectable hardcore/punk singer doesn't get hit during a show?

crossing over from music into violence tends to expose bands as cheap and childish.

It's like saying football's a sport based on manipulating a ball. It's not, the ball is just an excuse for overgrown toddlers to hit each other.

Same goes for violent music about violence. It's just like wannabe violence, for nasty people without the balls to go do it without the music, IMO.

I love violence, but I don’t like when people think they look tuff beating on one guy with a group of other people. That shit just makes u look like a punk and makes me put my dick away.

If a band is pissed because one of their guys got hurt at a show, then they are truly a bunch of wimps. Especially shows like punk or metal bands, I know guys that have had guitar necks smashed into there face and they dont stop playing.

I agree. Kids have been getting stoked and jumping on punk/hardcore signers forever. It's just part of and should be an honor. If you don't like your fans touching you, you're in the wrong scene.

haha, I understand what you are saying, I don't hit the signer myself, but in the reality of this scene, if you are a signer in ''big'' band, youre going to get hit.
