    Good Evening.

I´m from Germany and I will tell you now how the german people think about the USA and it´s government:

When George W. Bush become president, I think "Ok, a republican, that does not matter" And when the WTC goes down on 9/11 and the president make "war on terrorism" I told my friends: "Now they have a president that I wish here in germany" But in the last years i get from the television and from the internet the information, that G.W.B. take out all the Sauds from the White House when no one else can fly in the USA. And the war in Iraq makes me shure that not Bin Laden is the most wanted person! It is G. W. Bush and its military policy. But there is another question too: Why the americans have elected Mr. Bush again? Are there so much americans who love war and who love that killing of their sons or other families in the world? Or make the media like Television that beautiful, because they maybe say: They are all terrorists, Saddam Hussein is a member of a cell from terrorist, or the leader of this organisation. I want to ask you a question more: Is Mr. B. not the terrorist who fly with jets and walk with Rangers to the streets of bagdad and kill so much civilians that I cannot count it. Not the soldiers are the murder, Mr. B. is it! Is it right or not? What do you think about this!

The Lines I write is like the think of minimal 30 % of the people in germany! There are only 5 % that love a system like this and the rest don´t walk to talk about that. I hope you answer. Peace!

I think the main reason is there are too many ignorant people here that think the government knows best... It's bad and unpatriotic to question the government...
And there are far too many hardcore religious fundamentalists that would like nothing more than a holy war...

I apologize on behalf of the rest of my country. Americans are not what our media say that we are. Well... ok. some are, but some really aren't. The Hipforums themselves are a good example of some Americans that do not love their guns, god or government.

We're trying to turn things around... but we might need some help to do it. Please, the Rest-of-the-World, invade us and take us over!!! America has long since gone astray :p

I am going to quote my post on another similar thread. I like to address these types of posts in paticular, because I wan't to make sure people across the globe don't get the wrong impression of what us american's think.

    (thread is here: http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48775)

And if you browse the America Attacks forums you will see that there are plenty of us right here in the US that feel exactly the same as you.

The Media in germany don´t say the americans be all stupid people or other bad things about the citizens of america. But in the USA there is "a large group of christians" and republicans, who believe, that is good to kill for my country. They think, "there is no reason to think about it, because the people of Iraq or Afghanistan are not people relative to me". They think their all animals. But its easier to believe in a government as to fight them. On the other site there are Renegades, like Martin Luther King or for example in the music Rage Against The Machine who fight against a government like this in the USA now. This Contrasts are very interesting!

Yes, many people think the government says they're terrorists and evil, so they must be! And many people also just don't care... It will be interesting to see where it all leads...

Media is a big problem here in the US. Kids learn more from TV these days than than anything else. The media has a massive influence over Americans.

I have never met a single person who expressed to me the belief that it is bad or unpatriotic to question the government.

I also do not see substantiation of the claim that the government is disallowing people the right to criticize or question it.

But I agree that RELIGION is the cause of the majority of the world's strife -- because religious people, by definition, are IRRATIONAL and cannot be reasoned with.

That's my opinion of anyone who is religious, and it ain't gonna change.

There are good Americans here who are intelligent and caring people. One of the biggest obstacles we face in trying to change things for the better is sheer denial. One great example is our recent elections. Not only in who was chosen, but now in questions over malfunctions and voter fraud. Very little of the truth makes it to the main media, thus a large body of people who live here, really have no idea what's going on. They still fall under a belief that is perpetuated that America is still the symbol of freedom, that our role is a good and just one, that we must go out and spread our good morals and values. They are blind and stupid. Even further we face a huge problem in disassociation from other people. Many Americans have a very selfish attitude towards everything. Basicly, if it hasn't hapenned to them, then it doesn't happen. They can quickly turn a blind eye as long as it does not affect them personally. It can be very frustrating for those of us that see past the lies because it's very transparent. However, slowly, a large movement is gaining momentum in this country to reach out to the rest of the world from good people.

I think it's great that someone from Germany can come here and talk to Americans on a more personal level. If you came here I'd probably invite you over for dinner and want to know more about where you live. I'm a big fan of feeding people :)

I have met people like that though... People that would not even believe for a second that the government wouldn't have their best interest at heart...
But I live in the south/bible belt, and religion is probably the main cause of such...

Simply We Can Protest Against A Government Like This And Go To The Election.

A Lot Of People Go On Protest Not To The Election (Like In 2000 [100.000.000 People Not Vote]). I Think Thats Dumb
