I was arguing this with a friend. I'm not sure where I read it and it seems to be a problem of definition but I'm sure that it's included in the hallucinogen category for some reason. Obviously it's an etheogen but I thought it was a hallucinogen too. Note, I've personally never hallucinated from mdma, know there are those here that have.
Depends If u are heavy user yes the first time I did over 7 gels I saw my friends randomly siting in my room or under my bed they would speak to me mentally and I always see robot, animal Aztec like thinks most of the time a mix and objects like lamps will start spinning or growing longer or shorter ever since then no matter how much I do this happins
Lol ya sorry I'm really bad with writing or explaining but I personly think if u use it enof it is now a days MDMA or any amphetamine makes me trip harder the mushrooms and sometime acid for that matter visual wise
I don't consider it a hallucinogen but it can certainly cause hallucinations. Its without question psychedelic but I think its unique specific subsection of effect is better considered empathogen. Brettoner brings up a greatly kept secret about MDMA, it tends to get trippier and more spaced out when used more to where as they said it can be comprable to acid in visual effects. Higher doses causes hallucinations but they border between psychedelic hallucinations and amphetamine hallucinations I guess. The dose curve of MDMA is much like mescaline in my opinion and really I'm not sure I would consider mescaline a hallucinogen until about maybe 200 mgs. If you take 200 mgs of MDMA and I (or anyone else who is decent with lights) were to give you a light show you will definitely have visual effects unlike anything else you have ever experienced, possibly to the point of you losing contact with your surrounding enviornment.
I get WILD closed-eye visuals sometimes. I don't even know how to explain. So I won't. But yeah, I agree.
